ONCE UPON A TIME, in a land far away, a bird fell in love with a worm. For years the bird tried to teach flight to the worm. The worm didn't learn. Some say it couldn't, some say it didn't even try. Time passed. One day, the worm said to the bird: "Why don't I teach you to crawl instead?" The bird agreed.
The bird began to crawl like a worm, eat like a worm, and think like a worm. They lived together. Time passed. You could say it was "love."
One day, an eagle was soaring far above, the sun on its back, the world shimmering below. The eagle was thinking about its best friend who once got lost and never came back. It was years ago but the eagle felt a pinch of pain.
Suddenly, the eagle noticed a worm on the ground. Far larger than usual. Yummy. The eagle fell like lightning on its prey.
The end.
